Couture Hair Studio – Salon Policies
By booking an appointment with Couture Hair Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, respect for our team’s time, and the smooth operation of the salon.
Booking & Appointments
Appointments are confirmed once a booking is made through our approved booking system or directly with our team.
By securing an appointment, you agree to comply with all salon policies outlined below.
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure your service begins promptly.
Deposit Policy
A deposit may be required to secure certain appointments, particularly for colour services, extensions, or longer booking times.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Once a deposit is made, it will be converted into a credit on your client account. This credit may be applied toward future services at Couture Hair Studio.
Deposits will be deducted from the total service cost on the day of your appointment.
Credits must be used within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the salon.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice will allow your deposit to remain as a credit on your account.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment may result in the forfeiture of your deposit credit.
Failure to attend your appointment without notice (no-show) may result in the loss of your deposit credit and may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to modify or reschedule your service to avoid impacting other clients.
In some cases, late arrival may result in the appointment being cancelled and the deposit retained as credit.
Service Satisfaction
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have concerns regarding your service, please contact the salon within 48–72 hours so we may assess the matter and provide an appropriate solution.
Due to the nature of hair services, refunds are not provided once a service has been completed. Adjustments or corrective services are offered at the discretion of management.
A change of mind after a completed service does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Health & Disclosure
Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, previous chemical treatments, or medical conditions that may affect their service.
Couture Hair Studio will not be held responsible for adverse reactions or outcomes where full and accurate information has not been provided.
Photography & Marketing
Couture Hair Studio may photograph or record services for marketing, social media, or educational purposes.
If you prefer not to have images taken or shared, please inform our team prior to your service.
Right to Refuse Service
Couture Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse service where necessary, including but not limited to situations involving inappropriate behaviour, repeated policy breaches, or where the integrity of the hair may be compromised.
Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, clients are entitled to a service that is provided with due care and skill and is reasonably fit for its intended purpose. Where a service does not meet these guarantees, clients may be entitled to a remedy as provided by law.
Couture Hair Studio will assess any concerns in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a corrective service or other remedy as required.
